Kyocera Precision Tools India

Initially, the company was established as a Joint venture for manufacturing and dealing in Kyocera cutting tools to service Industrial customers in India. The company started manufacturing standard inserts for Indian customers at its Works in Jamshedpur, India. In 2023, Kyocera acquired 100% of company stock, under which the company name was changed to Kyocera Precision Tools India Pvt. Ltd. (KPTI) and Kyocera Corporation is the ultimate holding company. 

Kyocera cutting tools division support manufacturing fields such as automotive, construction machinery and aerospace with original and unique products which are developed with material, coating and configuration technologies.

Its range includes turning, grooving, threading inserts, tools holders, PCD/CBN inserts, small tools, milling, drilling, SC endmills and various other custom tools.
